ABSTRACT
Telework in Europe is advanced in some countries and lagging behind in others. This 1995 summary of the Penetration, Potential and Practice study for the European Union by Werner Korte of empirica in Germany and Richard Wynne of Work Research Centre in Ireland shows better than anything else available where Europe stands in the introduction of home-based working at least as far as government sponsoring encouragement and understanding is concerned.
