ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with the assessment and evaluation of multi-risk families in an urban setting, in Brooklyn, New York City.
Since 1987 the US Federal Government, through its legislation PL 99.457, requires that States will provide a free appropriate public educationto all handicapped children aged three through five, by the fiscal year 1990.
