ABSTRACT
This is the first of two chapters covering operational amplifiers. By the end of this chapter, you should be able to understand the basic concepts of these important devices and be able to design them into circuits with due regard to appropriate selection for their parameters. These will be limited to common mode rejection ratio, slew rate, input offset voltage and current and gain bandwidth product.
