ABSTRACT
The very first time DNA testing was used to solve a crime, it helped to exonerate an innocent man. Thus the power of DNA analysis can be used not only to convict the perpetrator but also to provide evidence that somebody is suspected, accused or even convicted of a crime s/he did not commit.
