ABSTRACT
We all know of schools – both primary and secondary – which have an outstanding reputation for sport or for the arts. Even before the days of Beacon Schools and Specialist Colleges, there were some schools which seemed to have a knack for producing more than their fair share of outstanding pupils in the talent realm.
