ABSTRACT
Special schools have been working collaboratively in partnership with multi-agency frontline workers for many years, providing wrap-around care, to meet the needs of the whole child. Several special schools already have multi-agency teams of health and social care professionals based on their site, offering inreach and outreach provision. There are lessons to be learnt from such schools in establishing similar provision in children’s centres and full service extended schools.
