ABSTRACT
Can you remember your time in primary school? What aspects have remained vivid in your memory? This can be a useful question for staff to think about to start a discussion of children’s perceptions of school and what they get out of the experience. There’s a good chance that they will have retained any negative incidents, along with the more ‘novel’ experiences.
