ABSTRACT
Loris Malaguzzi’s ideas about creativity and creative children have shaped the development of the Reggio Approach. Malaguzzi believed that all children are naturally creative and that they should have opportunities to develop their creative skills and expression. It was also his idea to have an atelier, a studio, in each centre and to include an atelierista, a person with particular creative skills, as a member of staff.
