ABSTRACT
The great majority of RE departments that are successful in providing for their very able children enthusiastically provide out-of-classroom activities. Although the primary responsibility is to ensure that effective support for very able pupils is embedded in the mainstream classroom, additional activities beyond the classroom are a highly desirable bonus.
