ABSTRACT
In this chapter we will consider how to interpret and adapt the current frameworks for language and literacy learning to provide an environment where children in KS2 are encouraged to interact with and enjoy a broad range of inspiring fiction texts, oral, written and visual, and to see themselves as creative storytellers, writers and producers, able and willing to experiment with language and form.
