ABSTRACT
Expert Builder was developed by the Modus Project to explore the opportunities for rule-based modelling and was widely trialled by members of the Modus Club (see Chapter 21). Following these trials, the program has been developed further and published. This chapter describes the software, outlines how it has been used, and comments on its strengths and weaknesses as a tool for modelling in schools.
