ABSTRACT
Catherine, our next participant in the Kellett (2001) evaluation study, died partway through that project. Although Catherine’s data-set is incomplete there is much we can learn from her case study about the relevance of Intensive Interaction for children with very profound and complex learning difficulties and those who may also have shortened life expectancies. Most of all Catherine’s story raises important issues about quality of life.
