Basics of physiological signal acquisition and processing for infant polysomnography

In this Chapter, fundamental concepts are presented for obtaining and processing the signals used with the IPSG1-6. Engineering concepts are explained to an extent that they will be useful to the polysomnographer and PSG technologist. This Atlas does not, however, allow discussion at the level of detail necessary for a comprehensive understanding of these topics. Instead, concepts are included that are believed to be crucial for obtaining clinically optimal IPSGs.
