ABSTRACT
Numerous studies of the safety of liposuction confirm that the combination of liposuction with other major procedures such as abdominoplasty or breast augmentation, particularly under general anesthesia, results in a significantly higher operating risk (see Chapter 16)1-5. The performance of more minor, supplementary procedures is, on the other hand, sensible in conjunction with liposuction surgery.
