As mentioned in the preceding chapters, liposuction using tumescent local anesthesia is currently the method of choice1.
The evaluation of numerous studies2-5 has repeatedly shown the high safety record of this method. Based on our own clinical experience spanning 15 years, we consider the tumescent technique to be a definitive component of the performance of liposuction surgery with the highest possible level of patient safety and the best possible cosmetic results.
