ABSTRACT
A total of 238 patients (441 lesions) had late angiographic follow-up in RESEARCH, as detailed in Chapters 3 and 20. In the present chapter, patients treated with SES from the RESEARCH are compared with 526 patients (734 lesions) treated with conventional stents in the Evaluation of Oral Xemilofiban in Controlling Thrombotic Events (EXCITE) trial.209
