ABSTRACT
HLA class II codes for HLA DR, DQ and DP genes, and HLA class II molecules are found only on antigen-presenting cells (macrophages, dendritic cells) and present foreign, extracellular peptides to helper T cells, which in turn stimulate B cells to make antibodies against offending organisms.
