ABSTRACT
The incidence of TB has been rising since the last decade due to the emergence of HIV co-infection and multi-drug-resistant TB (MDRTB) and it is increasingly encountered in the developed world, especially in patients infected with HIV. TB is now as common in London as in many parts of the developing world.
