ABSTRACT
Autoimmune mucocutaneous blistering diseases are a group of rare dermatological diseases,1 Their exact incidence is not known, as patients are treated by multiple specialists and laws do not mandate the reporting of these diseases to state healthcare authorities. In many patients the diagnosis is missed, leading to potentially irreversible complications and/or death.
