ABSTRACT
Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is usually a complication of ovulation induction or ovarian stimulation during in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment. Thrombosis is a rare occurrence during OHSS, however, it may be very severe and it can cause death. When it does occur, it is often when OHSS is already improving, and it may occur in the absence of severe OHSS.
