ABSTRACT

The book of Ruth, a mere four chapters, is not only a historical account of a woman named Ruth and her faithfulness to God, but also a profound lesson of hope for all believers. Most Bible scholars, theologians, and pastors see the book as a prophetic glimpse of our salvation through Jesus Christ. To the abused spouse, Ruth offers more than just salvation. Her story offers redemption, restoration, and hope for a “right” marital relationship.
