ABSTRACT
In this final chapter on comparative cognitive psychophysics an attempt is made to expand relational psychophysics to other fields of visual perception, for example, to the principles of perceptual constancy and perceptual memory. After all, where do we go from here, leaving aside for a while the enduring question of animal awareness and consciousness in comparative perception and psychophysics for the next research generations to come (human versus animal consciousness)?
