ABSTRACT
In recent years, statisticians have devised a set of statistical methods specially designed for the purpose of examining a data set. Together, they are known as Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA). (For a readable account of EDA, see Howell, 2002). EDA has now found its way into all good statistical computing packages, including SPSS.
