ABSTRACT
Organized crime is flexible and fluid, with an inbuilt quality to transcend borders and to transform its structure and activity. This extreme volatility of organized crime makes it a real challenge for law enforcement agencies to collect and exchange information and intelligence. Police forces in the United Kingdom (UK) and the Netherlands have embraced intelligence-led policing in an attempt to be more effective in the control of organized crime.
