Types of tasks and instructions

This work is primarily concerned with the problem of how people use their visual perception in the performance of tasks, or, formulated better, the problem of how Intending Mind uses Visual Perception in the performance of tasks, with Intending Mind and Visual Perception referring to different components of the human information processing system. And, of course, the first place to look for a solution of this problem is the theoretical work of contemporary information processing psychology.
