ABSTRACT
Drawings serve as one of the most basic forms of human communication. Thousands of years ago, our ancestors depicted scenes on the walls of caves. These scenes communicate to us events that took place, which enables the viewer to gather something about these events without experiencing them directly. This is one of the defining features of communication: to convey something without the need for direct experience of it.
