ABSTRACT
To some extent, what we are to examine in this chapter forms the other side of the coin of the content of the previous chapter. There we looked at the development of anti-social behaviour, but here we are going to look at the development of pro-social or altruistic behaviour which in many cases results from the development of a moral conscience.
