ABSTRACT
There are a number of stages that have to be undertaken prior to collecting data. You need to choose a topic, read about the topic, focus on a particular aspect of the topic and choose a method. Where appropriate, you need to decide on your hypotheses. You will also need to choose a design, choose your measure(s) and how you are going to analyse the results. In addition, you need to choose the people whom you are going to study.
