ABSTRACT
Variables Variables are entities that can have more than one value. The values do not necessarily have to be numerical. For example, the variable gender can have the value male or the value female.
An independent variable is a variable that it is considered could affect another variable. For example, if I consider that income affects happiness, then I will treat income as an independent variable that is affecting the variable happiness.
