ABSTRACT
In all but one case the relevant details given in the papers are in the form of means and standard deviations rather than probability statistics. The next stage is to create a single probability statistic for each of the studies. Given the nature of the summary statistics that each of the present studies has provided, the most appropriate statistic is the between-subjects t-test.
