ABSTRACT
People tend to talk about what they have to say, not what there is to be said. So it is that we have spent six chapters focusing on what the capacity limits are and how capacity is limited, with not much thought about why capacity is limited. That is, for me at least, a much more difficult question, though one with potentially a much larger theoretical yield. Now we will turn to this difficult and important question.
