ABSTRACT

On September 11, 2001, two jets slammed into the twin towers of New York City's World Trade Center, bringing down the fifth and sixth tallest buildings in the world, extinguishing nearly three thousand lives, and introducing the United States to the new dynamic of the twenty-first century.
