ABSTRACT
My college years changed me in ways I am still trying to understand. Somewhere else would have shaped me differently, but how? Better or worse? Keep asking yourself questions, I tell my students who are writing essays, until you know what you really think. Don’t give up too quickly. Don’t settle for easy answers. I don’t always tell them how long one has to continue asking.
