ABSTRACT
Our main purpose in putting together this volume is to build bridges. In particular, we want to bridge the communicative gaps that exist amongst developmental and cognitive psychologists who investigate event comprehension and representation using different age groups, and different event mediums. Our ultimate goal is to portray the developmental progression of event comprehension and representation (a) across the age span from infancy to adulthood, and (b) across various types of events.
