ABSTRACT

Karen has been in treatment for ADD for several months. The medi-cation has been helpful, and she’s asked for accommodations at work. That has taken the pressure off, but now that the school year has begun again, Karen is feeling overwhelmed. “It feels like I just can’t keep up. I ran late today because I couldn’t find anything to wear. And I just realized that I am wearing navy pantyhose instead of black! So I’ll be running around all day mismatched unless I take even more time out to stop and buy black hose. Why can’t I seem to do even the simplest things, like get dressed for work in the morning?”
