ABSTRACT

Computers and the Internet have become a major part of our lives, and it all seems to have happened rather suddenly. Clearly, the Internet has many exciting applications in our professional lives alone. We use it to communicate, both individually and to groups with whom we share professional interests. Through the Web, we can disseminate information about our work and our institutions, and we can easily find resources provided by others. Our teaching and our clinical services can reach people to whom we were once inaccessible.
