ABSTRACT
This chapter continues to outline the skilled helper model. Stages two and three are explained and illustrated in some detail and attention is also given to the implementation dimension of the problem-management process. Here again clinical vignettes from counselling practice are included to show how the skills and concepts described may be applied to helping situations in an integrative way. The chapter concludes with an exercise and guidelines to promote further understanding and application of the process.
