ABSTRACT

At this point, our research on the father must recognize that it is also a search for the father. It addresses a reader who is interested in both. Books on the mother don’t have to be so ambiguous. We can’t conclude our narrative on the father without lending attention to the child who is on the quest for him. So, now we’ll invert our gaze and look at things through the eyes of a son. This isn’t however a point of view which differs from the father’s. It’s precisely the form in which his gaze would like one day to survive.
