ABSTRACT
One of the most thrilling passages in the Bible is the one with which it opens. It transports us to the very beginning of time, to the fresh dawn of creation when we hear the Divine voice summoning order out of chaos, light out of darkness, life out of the uncharted void. After six days of Creation, we read, “And God saw everything that He had made, and behold it was very good” (Genesis 1:31).
