ABSTRACT
Artificial intelligence.—Although the vast majority of studies in artificial intelligence consider intelligence to be an individual ability, a school of thought dating back to the 1980s questions this assumption and attempts to take the interactive and social components into account in explaining the complexity of allegedly intelligence-based activities (→INTERACTION, SOCIAL COGNITION).
