ABSTRACT
Architect, China Wu Liangyong was born in 1922 in Nanjing. He received his Bachelor of Architecture
degree from the National Central University in Chongqing in 1944 and completed his Master of Architecture and Urban Design degree under Eliel Saarinen at Cranbrook Academy in Cranbrook, Michigan, in 1949. On his return to China in 1950, he joined the faculty of the Department of Architecture at Tsinghua University, a major school in China for technical and engineering studies.
