Wear a dust mask, goggles, rubber gloves, and protective clothing. Carefully scoop the solid into a beaker and transport to the fume hood. Destroy the material using the waste disposal procedure. Wash the spill site with soap and water, disposing of the cleaning materials in a sealed bag or container that can be packaged and labeled for disposal by burning.3
