Strategic Planning is a process that provides direction and meaning to the daily activities of an elementary school counseling program and involves the examination of the program’s values, current status, and operating environment in relationship to the program’s desired future (Dahir, Sheldon, & Valiga, 1998; Gysbers, Lapan, & Jones, 2000).
