ABSTRACT
In general, men of both age cohorts in my study were more unrealistic in their beliefs than were women of both age cohorts. This matches my findings about university students who take the Quiz.
As you learned in Chapter 3, Epstein and Eidelson aren’t the only experts who hold that this mind-reading expectation is irrational and dysfunctional. Review the advice of Lazarus and the other experts who recommend learning good communication skills, including asking for what you want.
