THE PERIODICAL PRESS is prolific and diverse, expanding and profitable. The industry, which is concentrated fairly heavily in the south of England, comprises
an amazingly wide variety of titles, ranging from journals covering arcane specialisms and selling only a few hundred copies to consumer magazines with circulations of over one million.
