ABSTRACT

Two of the stars have appeared with in British situation comedies had very different ways of dealing with supporting actors. Acting with stars has its own pitfalls to be aware of. Remember that they are the ones bringing in the audience so anything that will make them more effective even at one's expense considers being quite acceptable. Be prepared to be allowed only a limited number of moments or laughs and for the play to be twisted to suit the perceived character of the star. The main problem when acting with a star in a film is that natural excitement and wish to be noticed might make to overproject. Film stars can be very insecure, so should do with great happiness whatever it takes to help them give a luminous performance and they can be quite extraordinary in what they produce for the camera.
