ABSTRACT

There are two hierarchies that actor's will immediately come across: the hierarchy of stardom and the hierarchy of the importance of the part they are playing. The first hierarchy is the one people all know-how they all stand around and laugh at whatever the star says and notices how the project revolves around whatever she wants. The audience has come to see that particular luminous body-or will be coming to the local multiplex to do so-and it is only right and natural that she should get all the attention. The other hierarchy has to do with actor's role in the piece, and if it is a subservient one, such as a maid, do not be surprised if the other actors take on their character's personalities and order them to get the coffees at break time. The last hierarchy has to do with money, and it gets tricky.
