ABSTRACT
Very little, if any, personal data is totally exempt from the Act. In specific cases, however, some or all of the Data Protection Principles do not apply. In other cases the Data Subject does not have to be provided with information they may otherwise be entitled to (see also the chapter on Subject Access, page 47), or you may be allowed to make a disclosure which would not normally be permitted.
