ABSTRACT

This chapter is about the concept of security as it pertains to protecting individuals in the type of everyday caseload that most assessors will work. It is not a chapter on executive protection and all the different aspects of protecting individuals in a variety of settings using the most sophisticated methods available. To learn more about that type of process, there are endless books (some of them good) and numerous courses (again, some of them good), that you can pursue. If protectees have the resources to hire standing teams of protective personnel for weeks or months at a time, then they are extremely lucky. This rare victim does not make up even 5% of my caseload, the majority of which is in the private sector.
