ABSTRACT
Once upon a time there was a king and a queen, who had everything their hearts desired—food and drink, beautiful clothes and coaches, and parties as often as they wanted them. There was, however, one thing lacking: children. In her heart the queen kept saying: “Oh God, each and every animal has young ones, even the spiders, the lizards, and the beetles. Why haven’t you given me a child?”
